How do I order a custom sports mouthguard?
Choose the sports guard path, search for a nearby dental clinic that can make an intraoral scan, then send the scan file or clinic details to Aelio. We use that digital fit data to guide design, customization, and production.
Can I order without taking a home impression?
Yes. The recommended path is a clinic scan because it avoids messy trays and gives cleaner digital data. If you already have a valid STL scan from a dentist or orthodontic provider, Aelio can review it before production.
What should I search to find a nearby dentist?
Search for terms like intraoral 3D dental scan, digital dental impression, sports mouthguard scan, night guard dentist, or custom mouthguard dentist with your city or ZIP code. The page search tool builds that query for you.
Do night guards stop teeth grinding?
A night guard is mainly used to help protect teeth from grinding or clenching wear. It does not diagnose or cure the cause of bruxism, so customers with pain, jaw symptoms, or ongoing grinding should speak with a dental professional.
Can teams or gyms order sports guards together?
Yes. Aelio can organize team colors, names, numbers, logo direction, and repeat orders when athletes scan through cooperating clinics or provide accepted digital files.
Which product should I choose?
Choose sports guards for athletic protection, night guards for grinding or clenching protection, and smile jewelry for visual styling such as tooth gems, grillz, fangs, bars, or bridge details.
What file format is best?
STL is the simplest format to review. If your clinic exports another scan format, send the file name and screenshots first so Aelio can confirm the next step.
What happens if the scan is not clean?
Aelio will flag common issues such as missing margins, holes, unclear bite surfaces, or incomplete arches. The customer may need a new scan before production.
How do I request colors or artwork?
Send colors, team names, numbers, logo direction, reference photos, or stone placement notes through WhatsApp or email before final design review.
